Configuring Asset Properties

A step-by-step guide on how to manage asset properties in Invisible Hub.

 

Step 1
Select "Assets" from the left hand menu to view your asset inventory.

Step 2
You can see a summary of the number of properties you're measuring on that asset in the Properties column.

Step 3
Click into the asset name to see more information.

Step 4
Here's where you can see all of the properties you're tracking on the asset. You can edit and create new ones.

Step 5
See information about the property, e.g. the sensor it's associated with, the unit of measurement and various tags (metadata) that give your asset context.

Step 6
Use the pencil icon to edit properties.

Step 7
Enter or amend the relevant information about your property.

Step 8
Click "Update Property" to save your changes.

Step 9
Click "Show Advanced" to reveal detailed configuration settings.

Step 10
Click to configure your property, e.g. add a device (sensor ID), or add tags.

You can add a sensor to the property by selecting from a dropdown list, or using the QR scanner.

Select the packet of data you'd like to see for your property. Here, we're selecting 'Temperature' as we're monitoring the pipe temperature of an outlet.

Step 13
Click "Update Property" to apply all your advanced configurations.

You can discard changes at any time by using the "Cancel" button.

Click "Create New" to add a new property to this asset.

Click the property type selector to choose what to monitor.

Click "Legionella" to add legionella monitoring to this outlet.

Configure the new legionella property settings.

Click "Add Property" to finalise and save the new property configuration.
