Ecolync App Update – Release Notes

We've released an update to the Ecolync app including a number of reliability fixes and usability improvements.

Reliability Fixes

  • Improved app responsiveness during NFC reads and writes
  • Enhanced data integrity during relay test writes to ensure configuration settings are preserved
  • Resolved an issue where cancelling an NFC scan could trigger an unexpected error message
  • Improved button responsiveness during active NFC operations

What's New

  • Dark mode support, automatically following your device's display setting
  • Increased font sizes throughout for better readability across all screen sizes
  • Improved colour contrast on section headers and status indicators
  • Open and Close relay buttons are now colour-coded green and red, in line with industrial convention
  • Output status now clearly displays as Open, Closed, or Unknown before the first read
  • Smoother dropdown interaction using a native Android component
  • On-screen confirmation displays "Write Complete" following a successful write
  • Improved display support for devices using gesture navigation
